A LIVE is an experimental short film depicting a virtual world presented on a screen. It playfully explores the relationship between seeing and being seen, identity, and pressure in the digital world.
In this world, reality has taken a back seat, and the center of this world is a role-play carnival of performers and spectators. The artist plays the protagonist Xiaodie in the film. She is obsessed with popularity and constantly tries to switch different identities in this virtual world to gain attention. Her journey takes a dramatic turn when an unexpected fall and resulting coma garner her immense attention, leading her to pursue this perilous path further…
